First Coral Purchase... New Reefer.

I have had a fowlr for three years. Recently moved the tank which caused a parameter issue. All of that is resolved and my. LFS had ZOA frags for $6.25 ea. I bought a small blue mushroom, eagle eye, dragon eye, zombie eye, and and ogre ZOA with a star pattern ....

The LFS just said to temp acclimate them toss them in .... They are coming from an LED lit tank to a CF 65w 10k 65w ACTINIC in a 20 gal high aquarium...

I have done some homework but I thought coral action was more intensive.

drip is recommended as your tank water is different from your lfs water. it's also recommended to dip for pests.

i've only temp acclimated when short on time. i've never lost anything but have ended up with zoa eating nudibranch and apparently now flatworms on my mushrooms.

I did a peroxide dip. And placed in after a 45 min drip acclimation. Frags are opening up nicely. This guy looks the best under the actinic lights... Hope he stays that way!

So I had a massive Cyanobacteria out break while I was away for a week on training. Tested my water all except ph 7.8 and calcium 380ppm were low . My corals all did not survive. I took all my rock out scrubbed them clean and treated the tank with chemi clean cyano.... All cleared up for a few weeks now it's back. Current water parameters are below .

Dkh 11
Ph 8.4
Ammonia 0
Calcium 22 drops or 440ppm
Phosphate 0
Nitrate 0
Nitrite 0
Sg 1.024
Temp 82

Actinics 12 hours
Day lights 8 hours
Led dimmed moon lights

I do weekly water changes. About 10-15%. Tank is a 20High.

Suggestions?

Stupid question but you sure its cyno and not just diatom build up? New tanks always go through or at least almost always go through a diatom bloom. Also lower the temp.

The tank is not a new tank it has been up for. 5 years I moved it a year and a half ago to a new house which has done nothing but cause issues.
