Got my tank all set up today and getting started to cycle. Super excited, researched for months and today everything came together. Can't wait to get the cycle over with and get started with fish and coral. Attached a pic of my tank, can't wait to share and learn with y'all!

WV is not where I expected to see that stand :-)

Tell us about your setup: size, lights, rock...

I've been trying to figure out how to add it to my signature lol new to all this. But anyhow I have a 29 gal tank, 25lbs live rock, 1.5 in live sand bed, Tom Rapids Pro RP3 Filter with Protien skimmer, 100 watt heater (as hubby like to keep it 67 in the house), 1 power head, orbit marine LED saltwater reef lighting system, an I am awaiting my digital aquatics reef keeper lite! That's seems like a lot of stuff now that I the it out lol. Oh someone we know hand made the stand for us, we love the way it turned out!

Take your time, that is the key to a good saltwater tank. After it is cycled completely take your time and chose what you really want to have in it, 29 gal fills up very fast. That was the size of my first tank and I wanted to remove my first impulse buys pretty quickly for better animals. Good luck and enjoy it!

You could get a QT tank going and quarantine while waiting for full cycle

Like the stand and like your rock formation too.
Hopefully my tank will be where yours is at in a month!

Congrats, I just set up my first tank recently too. If I can give you any advice... Quarantine Tank. Figure out your solution for that before the day you want to get a fish comes.
