i now see that the flash seems underpowered and have already bought a new underwater flash, but some of these pictures were made without the external flash.
i know that many objects are too small on the images but im still a beginner... greetings

Nice pictures. I like the last one of the sunfish and the diver, makes you appreciate how large those guys really are.

Very cool that you caught a mantis shrimp out in the open, I thought they pretty much hid in the rocks all day without coming out much.

yeah the sunfish are gigantic, i also saw mantas but they were in very plancton rich waters which made photographing very hard. will post vids as soon as i cut them together...

about the mantis: the mantis in the picture "posed" for several divers who made pictures and videos and did not move. the actual reason why he is so colorful is because 2 other divers pointed their videolights on him at that moment. all mantis shrimps i saw were quite large (around 8 inches) and moved freely without any anxiety even when approaching them. they are like underwater weasels, very curious and confident.

Very nice! You might consider shooting nudibranchs face on and slightly upward for more dramatic results.

thanks for the tips and compliments!

next time i will get closer to the nudis. ive already bought a new underwater flash, and am looking into cameras better than this one, especially the new pen epl3 from olympus caught my eye.

Yes, you exposed blue water very well which is where many people fail initially. Always think closer and always try to think the rule of thirds for most interesting composition.

If you are interested in some tips, look here. From your shots so far, you seem like you are taking this seriously. Perhaps those tips will help.
