First frag for my green sinularia

....hopefully it works out. These are the steps I followed, im looking for any suggestions for the future with the steps I performed.
1. I dropped some lugol's in a 1 gallon bucket
2. placed the sinularia in and took a couple snips.
3. I ran a toothpick through the base and rubber banded the cuttings to the plugs.
4. Let the colony and the frags sit in solution for 5-10 mins
5. Rinsed all with water from the tank in another 1 gallon bucket
6. Placed back into the tank

Hopefully everything will recover !

i always fragged mine in my display tank...with no problems...i used thread to attach mine but rubber bands work fine too....

Hmm..thread may be a bit neater and easier to remove once it heals.
Love the suggestion, that I will do next time.

Everything sounds great, only thing is I would make sure you are running carbon.

Sinularia are one of the easiest corals to frag. Just cut and replace. You will succeed for sure .

I wish I was nearer. I´m looking for a green Sinularia since 2010...
