First Hitchiker 36 Bow

OK the tank finally cleared up this morning see attached pic. i plan on getting a black background to hide some of the cables and the skimmer.

Now the second image. I have my first hitchiker. Its a asternia starfish from what i can tell. any ideas on what to do with this? do i leave it or take him out?

Being that your tank is new, it's probably of no concern, but as soon as you start adding corals to the tank, these starfish can sometimes come into question. I'd remove it just for good measure. You can do this with your fingers, or siphon it out with some vinyl hosing.

thanks. i'll be taking him out. id rather not have to deal with him when i get corals.

I swear I remove 8-10 of those bastards every week. They multiple pretty fast! They blend In with rocks fairly well so it's hard to see them at times. I believe they're harmless, however others say they can hurt coral etc..
