thats a nice sized clam!! has it changed at all since its been under those lights?
i have never owned clams before but i thought they had to be under halides for some reason. looks great so far

Have had no issues so far...yes he is several years old, was given to us.

I monitor his color and his movement closely and he appears very happy indeed.

what do you use to dose your calcium and alk?

I am not currently dosing anything at this time. Weekly water changes of 10-20% volume are keeping levels where they need to be all while keeping it simple as to avoid a rookie crash. Plus it helps the nitrate levels changing that much so often.

thank you for the info...I was recommended by the lfs to feed the brine with spirulina cubes (Hikari bio pure).

What mysis do you recommend?
