First Time BTA Questions!

Hey guys, this will be my second tank setup after the first one got pulled down due to moving house. 150 litre (39g) with 16g sump/refugium below. Keen to get a bta after a lot of research however worried that the tank size is too small. Currently nothing in the main display except live rock and shallow sand bed. The tank is 2 months old so won't get one for another 3-4 months which is annoying because I want the nem to be the first life from in the tank so it can move and settle with no dramas (hopefully).

So is a 40g tank too small? I don't mind it taking up a lot a space eventually I think they're wonderful creatures.

No 40 gal. is not too small, but .......... you definitely have to watch out for splits. I have one in my 29 gal. and ended up with four healthy splits over two years time. I had to give away the splits due to tank size. Getting to the foot to remove them was a huge PIA. The one I have left has stayed moderate in size and has not split or moved in the last year.

What else do you have in you 29 gal? I've been trying to find out what else I can keep with the nem but it's hard to find an answer to that question.

I have two skunk clowns in the tank that won't let anything or anyone (You know who) near my RBTA. I have NEVER had a problem with my RBTA bothering anything in the tank with one exception. I had a huge montipora that died when the RBTA moved its place in the tank years ago and set up shop right next to the montipora after crossing over it.
