First time shooting RAW...thoughts?

Hey all,
I have been playing with my camera over the last week or so in RAW mode. Im quite happy with some of the results...

What do you think?

The other thing, I seem to be losing a fair bit of detail in the pic's when I upload them on to Photobucket. Why is this? Is it because the have been converted to jpeg? or is it something to do with the hosting site?

Great job, these are excellent. My images always loose detail when I post to Photobucket. I've been using Flickr recently though, they seem to do a better job.

Exposures look good. It might be the photobucket conversion but they all look soft. RAW images require sharpening in post processing, much more so than JPG (which gets a healthy does of sharpening from the in-camera software).

Looks like a good start.
