First Timer, First Cycle

Hey guys,

I set up my first tank Thursday with live rock, live sand, and LFS pre-mixed water. My salinity has been 1.026 and my test kit came in today, here are my results:

PH: 8.0
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 10-15?

Also, looks like there is some brown stuff forming on my middle rock. Is it time for a clean up crew? Could my tank really have cycled that fast?

Carefull with the API nitrate test mine is off buy a lot i have to go to my lfs to get it tested my test says its at 160ppm and when i went to the store its around 25ppm

Oh bummer, I guess I should just take some water to the fish store to get tested to be sure. What if it is accurate and less than 20? Does that mean I am cycled?

Cool, should I go ahead and just do the water change now and order a clean up crew? I still have 5 gallons of LFS water left over from last Thursday.
