fish died in QT

so i lost a naso tang and a longnose butterfly today in the QT. They were in QT since last Friday. Saturday I applied Prazipro. Today I noticed these two fish dead. I tested for ammonia and it was 0.25. I did a 30% water change immediately.

I have 12 more fish right now in the same QT tank. It is a 30 gallon. My original plan was to do cupramine treatment this coming Saturday. A million dollar question for me right now is, should I bite the bullet and let the remaining fish to the DT? Or should I follow through the QT?

the fish that i have in qt are yellow tangs and bartlett anthias and one flame angel.

That is way too many fish in that small of a QT. It will be very difficult to keep ammonia at bay. With any ammonia the rest of your fish are in peril. Can you access a second, larger tank for a QT?

Don't put the fish in the DT without completing a QT regimen. That is just asking for trouble later on.

Are you planning on putting all these fish in the same display after QT?

Yes. Same display.

Don't have another tank right now. Maybe I can do something this weekend. Is there anything I can do in the meantime? Can I do daily water change

Agreed. Way too many fish for QT. Nothing good happens fast in this hobby, and you are best served by quarantining 1 or 2 fish at a time. Not only will ammonia be difficult to manage, one diseased fish can wipe out the entire lot.

Do you have a Rubbermaid and an air stone lying around? This can be used as an extra QT in a pinch. Also you could add something like Prime to detoxify the ammonia.
