Fish Disease Preventitive

I have a few fish showing signs of white spots. Would you recommend a UV sterilizer and would this help aid in the risk of them accumulating any of these in the future? What methods do you use? I heard some people dip their fish in fresh water, can this put a lot of stress on the fish or can they tolerate it fine? I use Prazi Pro for bacterial infections. Is there any other medications that aren't too hard on the fish and would show great benefits without any high risks. There's so many medications out there so I'm looking for a few which are easy on the fish. Any help would be appreciated.

White spots can be flukes or cryptocaryon (marine ich). PraziPro is for helminth (worm, fluke) infections. For cryptocaryon, you need to administer Cupramine (copper) in a dedicated hospital tank. UV may keep the total number of parasites reduced, but it will not resolve the problem.
