i got a 26 gallon aquarium with 30lbs of LR and its been cycling for about 6 weeks now. All tests for ammonia and nitrite and nitrate are 0 now yet i have lost a royal gramma, false perc, fire goby, and a green chromis. The guy at the LFS store its a ammonia spike but i dont think so. its making me really ticked off not know whats killing my fish. I got a azure damselfish and a six line wrasse some corals, inverts, crabs, in the tank right now and there doing fine except it seems the damsel has ick. what should i do guys and gals??

Do some water changes to lower the ammonia, if corals are living fine I would think it wouldnt be ammonia. Maybe a hitch hiker or it could be but I highly doubt new tank syndrome.

New tanks are unstable and fish should only be added one at a time several weeks apart. If you Qt each fish for 4 weeks before you place them into your show tank you will sigificantly improve your survival rate (will also force you to space out fish additions).
