fish for hosting anemone

You should wait at least six months before adding an anemone to a newly started tank. with that being said, there are several types of clownfish that will accept e. Quadricolors as a host. It really depends on what you are willing to spend, what personality will best suit your tank and lastly whatever you find appealing. Remember clownfish can live for a very long time, so get ready for a big commitment.

How are you ready if your tank is still cycling? Is it all pre established rock from one of your own tanks? otherwise I would wait at least 3 months after your tanks finished cycling to make sure everything is truly stable. Most soft and LPS corals are easier to keep thank nems in a newer setup. at least wait until you get a feel for this tank, and no swings in waste products or alk.

I ment I am ready for the big commitment of time wise for the animals.. That I realize thy live for a long time and this isn't just a faze lol I wouldn't be putting in so much money for just a faze lol :)

The rock is from the lfs shop.. HThey are not like a regular shop it's like it is his hobbie and he started off the Internet now he is a shop . At least half of my rocks now r from his established tanks.. He took them out right from his tank another that was in his huge bin has a mushroom coral on it.. And I'm not bringing in the anemone until he feels my tank is ready.. He has my other 125 gallon tank he can put into until this one is set.. He doesn't bring much stuff in all the time but when he does it goes fast.. Within 2 weeks fast .. So I payed for a gorgeous green bubble tip while I could lol he also told me he don't bring in anemones often so I had my chance and I bought one...
