Fish has ich

I'd keep the corals in the DT and get some PVC pieces to use as shelter in the QT. The fish don't care. If you end having to treat the fish for disease or parasites, the corals can't take it. Coral dips only kill coral pests, they do nothing to the different forms of various parasites that can live on the coral. You CAN QT corals & fish together, but separate them if you have to treat the fish. If the DT is fishless, dip them and QT them in the DT. Also, there are dealers who sell coral, mostly frags, that have never been exposed to water that contained fish---they are safe.

If you are going to leave the tank fallow for 8-10 weeks and put the fish in a hospital tank while you do, that is the best fishkeeping decision you can make! Just remember you will have to treat every fish you get from now on, no exceptions!

Also you can load up on corals right now, and feel safe about them too. While your tank has no fish in it, it can act as a coral QT. I personally QT any coral clam or rock for 6-8 weeks in a tank with no fish in it before adding it to my display. This is like leaving those items in a fallow tank. You can dip etc while you're at it too.
