Fish ID?

I ordered 40 feeder shrimp from reefs2go. While looking at the shrimp in the bag, I noticed one was not a shrimp, but a fish. It looks like some kind of blenny or gobie. I looked at reefs2go site, and they do not sell anything that looks like it. It LOVES any holes by rocks, and stays on the bottom. He appears clear, with some white/gray markings that blend VERY well with the shell/sand. I think he is neat and would like to research the care, to keep him alive. Also it is about 1" long.

Had trouble trying to attach a picture here, so I made a new album in my profile.

Its a goby of some sort, probably of the genus Coryphopterus. There are a number of species that are difficult to tell apart (for my anyway). Glass goby and sand goby are two trade names. These fish stay small and really don't cause any problems with anything else in the tank. There is a slight chance that it is a juvenile of one of the larger goby species, like a frillfin - these can be a bit aggressive when they mature.

Feeder shrimp are wild caught in nets, so there is always a chance of other animals showing up along with them - just be glad it isn't a pinfish or a toadfish that will grow huge and mean!

Thanks. In doing google images searches. The sand gobies look the closest. But from doing research, DANG there is a lot of gobies. At moment he is an easily spooked fish. I'll keep an eye on him and his growth/attitude. If he gets mean I'll take him to local fish store that does trades. I'll watch and see what he response to but would assume he eats the as my watchman.
