Fish/Invert to clean sand

I am looking for recommendations on a fish/invert that will burrow through my sand and clean it...I was thinking a Sand Sifting Sea Star but I heard they are high-maintenance and my tank is only a couple months old. Any suggestions??

Nassarius Snail.

I would go for a couple of these fellows, my tank has been set up for just over a month and our one is doing just fine! :) and he's really odd looking.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I've had 5 of them my tank for about 2 weeks now. They are putting a dent in it but they do not mix the sand up as much as I would like. I'd like to have something that will burrow and mix the sand pretty well.

I have two sand sifting stars, 5 nassarius, 2 pacific conchs a pistol shrimp and a female yellow watchman goby. They keep the sand in my 75 spotless. I heard the stars were hard too but i havent ever had a problem with them.

Possibly a goby? Possibly?! :D

Get an orange spotted diamond back goby. Those guys are so much fun to watch and they do a FANTASTIC job. I heard they're jumpers, so make sure the lid's on tight. ;)
