Banana wrasse
Pair maroon clowns in a bta
Snowflake eel
Goldentail moray

Not only does the tank space matter, the amount of hiding places are important too. It's 10 gallons.

the grouper or the lion would eat the maroons, and i think the anemone wouldnt be happy with the water conditions of a tank with those large predators

Nothing is safe from a groupers mouth, and a lionfish is just as capable. You would need excellent filtration and all sorts of different foods to feed each different fish

I don't think he could even attempt to put such high bodied fish in his mouth, instead of the volitans I'll get a spotfin lion.

Im sorry i didnt mean that the grouper would eat the lion, i meant lions eat just like groupers do. They have huge mouths and when they snap open they create a vacuum that sucks the closest fish right into the lions mouth.
My apologies for the way i worded it. The lion and grouper i think would be fine in a big highly skimmed and filtered tank
