Fish Suggestions

I have a 29 gallon tank with 2 ocellaris clownfish in it and I would like to see if you all have any ideas on what fish would be good in my tank. (there are corals and snails as well so it must be reef safe). The main obstacle I'm encountering is that my tank is sumpless so there are some gaps in the top for the HOB filters and equipment, this means I would prefer to avoid the fish that commonly jump like the wrasses and gobies but these fish make up a large amount of nano fish available.

Royal gramma, one of the smaller blennies, such as a bimaculatus or tail spot, or maybe a possum wrasse. They typically aren't jumpers, and are extremely underrated fish :fish1:

Bangaiis don't really interest me unless they are kept in a group, and according to live aquaria, the possum wrasse will jump. I am interested in the tail spot blenny I think, but I have a question regarding feeding them. I feed the clownfish mysis and spectrum pellets, and the blenny is a herbivore so it needs different food, but should I feed the herbivore food and clownfish food at the same time? or feed each type of food separately for each fish species.

I would just mix some herbivore pellets/flakes with your normal food and feed at the same time. The blenny will get his fill :D

I've heard the fire fish are jumpers, and does the ladder goby make a huge mess when it sifts the sand because I have heard that about them. I also don't have a refugium so I don't know if there would be enough for it to eat.

Why not just cover up the openings? You can use 1/4" mesh, acrylic, electrical tape, etc. That way you would not have to worry.

A mesh net covers most of the tank, but the main gap is where the HOB filter pours water back into the aquarium.

My tank is covered so the firefish is safe, the ladder goby sifts the sand but it keeps it turned. I need to blow off the ricordia with my turkey baster occasionally though. He also eats anything
