Fish

It all depends on their size and what fish. There is a general rule about inches of fish to gallons of water but I forget it. Also, with more fish comes a higher bioload which may also cause problems.

What fish are you planning to keep and what do you have in the tank now?

That isn't too many fish. Don't add any other tangs though.

You could probably get away with 4-5 more small fish that don't get more than 3 inches in length. What type of skimmer do you have?

Skimmer, live rock, refugium, total system volume...all of those factors will impact the ability of your tank to handle the bio-load. But I agree with Ray on probably a few more small fish.

I was looking to add a pair of clowns that are full grown but wanted to make sure first. I don't have a skimmer but do have lots of live rock and hermits. I was going to wait a bit before I got in to that who skimmer and high tech stuff. LOL

My pictures are on the other thread that the subject line says "pictures tank pictures" that Ray placed on here.

Do you have a sump for your tank?

I would wait on adding fish then if you don't have a skimmer unless you really keep up with water changes as a skimmer is what is going to get rid of solid wastes (fish crap!)

Be careful adding the 2 clowns. See in your pictures that you have one already. I have 2 percs and one skunk clown in my 180 and they fight quite a bit. In a 75 someone might not make it.

I'm really good about the water changes but doesn't the hermits eat the waste? That is why I bought them. I wanted to go with a more natural tank at first.

They'll help minimally, but you shouldn't really notice much of a change as far as testing nitrates, etc.
