The good news is:
•We can identify this disease fairly readily.
• Death from the virus itself is rare.
The bad news is Lymphocystis, at the present time:
•Has no cure.
• Appears to be contagious, spreading to other fish of the same or closely related species.
• The virus enters the fish's body through openings (injuries) in the fins, skin and gills.
• Spreads fairly rapidly on the affected fish.
• Death is usually caused by secondary bacterial or fungal infection.

Watch for redness and swelling on the fish around the lympho. If they occur, you will need to treat with antibiotics for a secondary infection.
I was wondering if Furan-2 is better or a combo of maracyn and maracyn2 is better or is there a better antibiotic if those dont work? Another question can I treat with a different antibiotic after finishing with Furan-2 or should I do a second round of Furan-2?

Based solely on my experience, here are the pros & cons:
Pros of Furan-2: Works faster and is less expensive.
Cons of Furan-2: Certain fish I've treated seem to have an adverse reaction to it.
Pros of Maracyn 1&2: Seems gentler on the fish (I've never seen a fish have an adverse reaction to it.) One (or both) have B-complex vitamins which stimulates appetite. This comes in handy when dealing with a fish so far gone that it refuses to eat.
Cons of Maracyn 1&2: Can take longer to work, sometimes requiring up to 2 rounds of treatment. More expensive than Furan-2 because you have to buy 2 meds to do the same job that Furan-2 does all-in-one.
After your first round of Furan-2, wait a day or so to make sure the fish isn't actually getting better. Sometimes they don't look like they're getting better during treatment, but show improvement shortly thereafter. If that doesn't work, then I would probably switch over to Maracyn 1 & 2 as it contains a different combination of antibiotics. But make sure you run carbon and do a couple of WCs first to get all the Furan out.
Thanks b0bab0ey, I will keep that in mind. I will go through 1 round (4 doses) of Furan-2 and wait a day or two and change do water changes and run carbon and see how the fish is, if its getting better I will stop there and slowly raise the salinity back up because by the time i finish the Furan-2 I should be done with the hypo treatment. If anything I will treat with maracyn 1&2 and see how it goes if the fishes are still alive that is...
I forgot you were doing hypo. I have no experience with hypo, let alone using antibiotics on a fish in hypo. You might want to do a little more research first before mixing the two. I did find this thread:

Fish still alive but still have the lymphos on it. Sorry hard to get some good pics with the greenish color of the water after using Furan-2. I have 1 more day to go before Furan-2 is finish. I will wait a few days after that to raise the salinity and then use Erythromycin/Maracyn if it doesnt get better before I use Maracyn2. I dont know if its ok to use both Maracyn + Maracyn2 at the same time is a good thing?
