Fishman Under New Management

I just recieved a flyer in the mail that the Fishman is under new management now. I got several coupons, I vowed nevver to go back after so many bad experiences but I think I may check it out to see if this "new management" is any good. Anyone been in there recently?

Maybe if we are lucky this could turn into something good and maybe become a decent LFS.

Under new management? Cool, I think it would be good to at least give them a fair look.
I hate to see LFS go out of business, even though those that do inevitably wind down similarly.

I rarely went there after seeing the selection at the old Kirkwood Highway store (now closed). I would at least pay them a visit at the 202 store to see if things will be better and hopefully they will.

I will be stopping in to at sometime. I stopped going there after the manager at the Kirkwood one left.. I think his name was Eric maybe? but he helped me first get set up with freshwater way back when I was 5years old. I had gone there for about 8 years not knowing any other place then after he left or they were havingproblems getting money and did whatever they could to make a buck I stopped going. But actually I heard good reviews from two people about the new fishma when I was at work. It was about the water though .69$ a gallon for the water and it had very good water quality, no ammonia nitrates and stuff. Atleast thats what they said.

i went there after the new management took over and i can honestly say that the only thing that has changed are the owners. tanks still look like garbage and prices are still high. id rather stay at home and watch grass grow then go there again.

ew is the water they sell sealed or right out of their system? id use natural sea water before i used LFS water lol

FYI... I stopped by today, they had a couple of nice fish, though far too large for anyone who I know (groupers mostly). Tanks looked like aiptasia farms. It will take some time to turn the titanic around, we'll see what happens.

BTW, stopped by just fish today as well, they were doing a water change, but the tanks looked bad. Hopefully the change helped.

I have purchased 20 freshwater fish from them in the last 3 weeks... 12 fish had ich... the quality of fish does not help. Also I have caught the people giving bad advice multiple times... now I only stop there on my way home if I need something 'ASAP'.
