Flasher problems?

ludiNano

I'm becoming...Brundlefly
Hello all I got this flasher from LFS on 2.14.09, i was watching it for about 2 weeks, was nice and fat.

This week ive noticed some color fading and what looks to be not quite scrapes noting breaks the skin just looks like dry patchs. Towards midway botom fin.

I have a BB tank and i thought this wrasse didn't need a sand bottom and would form a slime coat when it sleep, and i havn't seen a noticeable slime coat.

It sleeps down on the botom of tank up against a rock and i thougt that w/ out slime coat might cause this?

Ive never used any kind of stress coat or anything does this matter? Will it help?? (I heard it makes skimmer go crazy.

Pics from when i got it. Will get new pics tonight.
LFS only labled it as a Flasher Identify would help too. Thankyou.

I will also add that My lighting is a little bit different from most and noticed wrasse not adapting to it very well.

Basicly my lights are on 6 hour off 6 hours. (i dont count the white moon time)

Blue moon lights- On - 24/7
White moon lights- On- 2:45 am OFF 9:15 am
65w PC 30'' ON- 3:00 am OFF 9:00 am
150w MH Sunpod ON - 3:15 am OFF 8:45 am

Then it starts the same rotation at 2:45 PM -- to-- 9:15 PM.

On the lights out in the "PM" it sleep down at the bottom up against rock.

But in the "AM" lights out it lays verticly against tank wall by top of water or just swims at top by wall.

Well poop is white too. And in Reef Fish forum i have same post some guy suggested some kind of parisite and i believe i saw a white patch move. I am prepareing a hospital tank, should i use tank water or mix up new.

This is Fish Disease Treatment, right....

Keep bumping...

Stringy poop also means an internal parasite.

Get a bottle of prazipro. Shake extremely well before use (it's think).

Use tank water if possible to set up your QT (at least 50%).

Search this forum for prazipro treatment. Be prepared to run carbon to remove the meds.

But don't wait too long to act - he's still eating, yes?

He was still eating i got it sepparated to a qt i set yesterday FINALLY getting some advice else where.... Thankyou Amazon for your concern.
