I originally thought that i had one male flavianalis and a female. But today i noticed the female flashing(?) but her/his anal fin is almost completely yellow like my original male with the exception of a small red spot on the distal outter part of the fin.
I added a pair of Lineatus fairy wrasse in the past week to the tank,
could this have induced a change in the female?
and would a female flavianalis convert if another male was already present in the tank?
or is the new male more likely to be carpenteri and is there any other way to see if this is the case?
