PLEASE PLEASE HELP!
Im freakin out.
I have never had to use FWE before so this is my first experience with it. I followed the directions perfectly!
My set up.
175 gallon display / 100 gallon sump
I made up 100 gallons of salt water for water change.
Carbon reactor. BRS ROX carbon.
Friday night (24hours ago)
I siphoned out as many as I could see prior to use. Within 60 seconds of application, the flatworms began to die. I siphoned a while, then replaced
with fresh, repeat, repeat, repeat untill the entire 100 gallons of waterchange was complete. 95% of the flatworms had been removed. Fish and corals all looked good for the rest of the night. this afternoon when the lights came on everything looked great. I cound see a few scattered worms...but very few. Fish happy, eating well tank looked great.
Up untill just a couple of hour ago...all was well.
All of a sudden most of my fish are hiding in the rocks. Mostly tangs. very lethargic and not eating. (if I didnt know better I would say my hippo's eyes were clouded)
Powder Blue,
Yellow,
Hippo,
Blonde Nasso.
Normally very active, especially when I approach.
All my corals are closed!!!
I just tested, everything looks ok.
PH 8.3
Amonia -0
Trates -0
Trites -0
Ca - 350 (Actually a bit lower than normal)
Mag - 1250
The only thing that I was not certain about was the carbon. I AM running a good bit more that normal. Just wanted to fight the toxins. Probably double what I would normally run.
This has all happened within the last few hours!!
ANy help greatly appreciated!!
