Flatworm Exit and Mantis'

I will be upgrading both my mantis' in the very near future.

My problem is that both tanks have flatworms, not overrrun, but unsightly just the same - Minor corals in both tanks.

I was going to move the corals and LR from the existing tanks into the new ones , but I want to treat for the flatworms first, so the new tanks don't become infested.

Is Flatworm Exit safe for mantis? Anyone ever use it? I know it's supposed to be safe for corals, fish and inverts, but I would like to hear from a stomapod owner who's actually done it and not just heard about it.

Maybe just dipping the LR and coral before moving it would be better than dosing the tank.

Thanks

See? I like that, a thinking man!

I could actually put them into their new homes while the tanks are being treated. I'd give them a temp. PVC burrow. and then aquascape around them afterward

Thanks

I have safely used Flatworm Exit in with mantis. Only advice I would give is to start by syphoning as many out as possible and use at least 3x if not 5x what the directions say to use because the directed dose doesn't seem to do much if anything to the flatworms. Also have a canister filter packed with carbon because when the flatworms start dying they release toxins. That is what can cause problems.

Personally my mantis tank was never so clean as when I had flatworms. They may be unsightly but they keep a tank clean.

I just got done dosing my 8G BC (which houses both Boris and Natasha) and it hasn't affected either one of them.

I sucked out as many as I could with about 2.5G of water, replaced the water - dosed the tank - waited 45 minutes - did another 2.5G water change and then added a BC Carbon filter. Within 12 hours tops I'd say everything was perky and back to normal.
