I hav a minor flatworm outbreak and I am looking for advise on a fish that will eat them. I really don't want to flatworm exit the tank as it is not that bad.
I bought a sixline wrasse hoping that it'd eat flatworms - he snacked on them a little bit, but didn't make as much of a dent as I'd hoped. I've heard that yellow corris wrasse, scooter blennys and target mandarins (also called green spotted, I believe) will also eat them. Honestly I think it depends on the individual fish though - some will eat them, some not so much. I've pretty much beat them by siphoning them off - a piece of rigid airline tubing attached to a piece of flexible tubing, connected to a filter media bag stuck in the sump worked great (got the idea from Melev's webpage).
Hope to help!
