Flatworms?

I just found out some bad news this morning...I was looking in my tank and noticed I have really small planaria looking flatworms on the glass...They are not everywhere yet, but I don't want them to get out of control...Just to note: I do not have a sand bed in my tank...

I don't know where the hell they came from...Haven't added anything since I started the tank up a few months back except some crustaceans...

I heard they aren't detrimental, what is your take?

I am thinking big water changes and maybe a dragonet or 6 line wrasse or a blue velvet nudibranch...I have never had anything like this before...ugh!

They aren't detrimental, but can get out of control. If it is still a small outbreak and you have the oppotunity, FW EXIT is supposedly a great product. velvet nudis need a humongous population of FW's to live. If you have good pod production and madarin or 6-line should do fine.

Most wrasses will do a number on FW's but may have adverse effects on other tank mates you might like...read the good and bad of the animal before you try to use it. I do recommend against velvet nudi unless it becomes too much to handle.

I sent you a PM about this too swirly and wanted to ask because i didnt mention it.. can't some of those fancier nudis not only starve but become toxic if they stress or die?
