flesh eating disease

I have had a few tangs with what appears to be a flesh eating disease. It starts out looking like Ick but then progresses to very small ulcerations, fraying of the fins, and scale loss. The fish seem to eat up until they die which is about 1- 2 weeks. I currently have a sailfin with the disease and he is in a 10gal tank and I am treating him with maracin and tetracycline. Any suggestions would be helpful

I believe my fish had a similar thing in my tank, i started treating my fish for ich and within 14 days there scale/skin was peeling off them and within a day or 2 of that there dead. lost all fish to this disease, so i'm assuming its highly contagious. Would love to know what exactly this is and how to treat. It sure looked like a real painful way to die.
