Float Valve..

I have a float valve from Bulk Reef Supply and I am wondering how to set it up. I am using a Brute garbage can for an RODI reservoir. It looks like the float is meant to be drilled, Almost seems to have a gasket?

Is there other ways too set these up?

I know it is a pathetic questions but I have never used a float valve before.

There are a bunch of different float valves. Could you be more specific with what yours is? Perhaps a name or link to the product?

Unscrew. Drill a hole just big enough to put the float valve through. Attach RO line. Attach screw. Seems pretty straight forward.

I dont think there should be any curve balls.
