Just got my first florida recorida today and was wondering exactley what is the care and requirements of them. Are they like normal mushrooms. How much light, flow etc. etc.
Their requirements are......... few and far between
They're rather easy corallimorphs to care for. They'll adjust to just about any light (given proper acclimation to it) and probably a fair range of temperatures and salinities as well, as long as you keep them steady. They do not like high flow too much though.
florida ricordea are very hardy. good light is all they really need. I feed mine everyother night. I am going to start cutting them in half so I can get more because they split very slowly
