How do you frag Florida rics as I have ordered 8 from my LFS and plan on fragging them a couple of weeks after they arrive. I will post pics during week after they arrive. Thanks

You can slice them through the mouths or if it has multiple mouths you could also just cut in between them.
As for getting it to stick. if there is rock rubble already attached you can glue that to a plug. or place them over some rubble with netting to keep them in place

Here's the result after the rubberband was taken off. It's been about 4 days and they're both fully healed now:

After seeing your pic.

I decided to do the same, but with a small piece of healed yuma the size of a dime.

I put the thin but rounded elastic in the middle of a frag plug, made sure it was tight but not too tight to slice all the way through right away. Took a toothpic to lift the elastic, then slid the healed cutting of yuma under the elastic so the yuma is being squeezed in the middle, then let go by sliding out the toothpic.

After a few day's it almost riped off, thankfully I have a fairly low flow tank.

now I have 2.

Going to try smaller piece's using the same thin rounded hair elastic's, 1 on the side with a little overhang and one in the middle.

Would prefer splitting it in 2, if possible.

These guys have just healed, and are starting to grow a new mouth.
