I had this BTA for almost a year now and its doing great (split once).

Whilest this picture does not show it very well (taken on the day i got it -> 16 sept 2005) - it used to appear flourscent green under Actinics.

About a month after i got it, it turned into a more tannish brown color, whilst you could still see some green in the tentecals - they did not 'glow' like before.

Is this normal for this type of Anemones? and is there something that I am not or am doing that has led to the decline in the glowing green color that it used to emit.

Tks

its bleached IMO.. turning brown is a good thing.. it may have flouresced green, but it looks white IMO(in the picture).. turning browns means it becoming healthy again.. also i dont doubt that once it turns a darker color it will turn more green, at least thats my experience with an anemone that was bleached and was slightly green at the time(while being bleached)..

yes I would say it turned brown in response to your lighting; since you have kept it this long and it has even split for you, be happy that your anemone husbandry it good, and you have a happy healthy anemone
