The tank is going to be 72 x 32 x 24. Should I keep my two WWD Vortechs (max 3000 gph ea.) and IC Battery Back-up and add either:
- 1 more WWD Vortech
- 2 Tunze 6101s (back corners)
- 1 Tunze 6200
- 2 Tunze 6200s (back corners)
The majority of the corals will be SPSs. I know this decision really comes down to personal preference. But I'm stuck. Plus I've never fired up the VTs, so I'm not sure how loud they're going to be. I probably should use the lowest spacer setting and try running them in freshwater to see whether I like them enough to keep them. The corosssion issue with the magnets is weighing on me too.
I was also thinking that I could keep the two VTs on the back of the tank, though the overflow will offset the one on the right, and maybe two Streams in the back corners for good coverage. But I don't mind putting them on the ends of the tank either. The rockwork will be relatively open too.
Excuse me if I rambled on a bit. I'm going on another night of three hours of sleep.
Thanks,
Paul
