Flow/Frogspawn Question

Hi All,

I've got a frogspawn in a tank with quite a bit of flow (30-40x). It only opens up about half as much with the flow on, as it does when the pumps are off for feeding etc. It doesn't seem to love the flow based on this observation. Its not being blasted or anything, just getting hit with a lot of indirect flow.

Is this a problem? Or it will still be able to meet all its photosynthetic/feeding/etc. needs when not opened up to its full potential?

Thanks.

I took a pic of my Frogspawn the other day because it was opened more than normal. The pic doesnt really do it justice, but it must have been at least 7"-8" in diameter. What I have noticed was my Frog seems to respond more to light than anything else, after I had moved it higher in the tank (about 12"-14" from halides 2x150w) it immediately looked better. I do get some direct sunlight on the tank also which I know isnt good but the corals seem to like it. I have never made much of a point to target feed my frog it seems to do well with what it catches in the water. It is placed in a area of moderate flow, just enough to gently sway the polyps back and forth. Hope this helps.

i would move it. it seems unhappy, when i first got mine it was getting hit with indirect flow and i had the same results, i also moved it higher closer to my lighting where it still got some flow(moderate) and its way happier.
