Flow on SPS question

I bought a koralia Nano today and where i placed it for the best flow around the tank puts it a inch away from one of my SPS frags. My question is this going to bother the coral? I think the koralia is around 250 gph.

i dont think it should be a problem... just watch out the coral reacts

If it's too close blowing on the frag, it will take the tissue off it. If the frag keeps it's polyps retracted it's too much flow for it.

I can see the polyps but they are not fully extended but i did just put the frag in 8 hours ago.

Pretty sure 1" is too close to the frag. I would move it or the koralia. The frags tissue may be gone tomorrow.

Good glad to hear it's not getting blasted. I think you made the right move.

I think poly extension is a good indicator. I made the same mistake of putting the MP40 too close to one of my acro. It turned brown in 3 days.
