well, i updated my return pump to a mag 12. all is running good. i had to play with my overflow so that it would handle it. but now all is quite and i have more flow.

i still cannot get the gentle currents that i would like. every way i do it, it seems like one thing is getting blasted while something else is not.

currently i have 6 MJ 1200's 4 of which are on wave maker plus the mag 12. (all have the nozzel cut off to make 2 wide flows and 8 alternating flows) that puts me just at 3000 gph about 40x turnover

-- i took down my mj stream, i think that it is hella ugly.

i just need a little more flow on the left side of my tank.

should i get a small tunze and put it in the left top corner and make the flow bounce off of the front glass? or should i do the same thing with a sieo? i want something that is not very big and ugly

You have 6 MJ's in a 75? Do you have a pic? I'm curious how well you can hide them.

Are you cutting the nozzle off right at the base to create a wider stream of current? How well does this work?

Even with the nozzels cut off those are far from being wide flow like a seio or tunze.

cutting the nozzel off does nothing except give me 2 different flow patterens for each MJ on the wave maker.

MJ stream is like a seio... tunze is wider than both
