flow

I have been tackling flow issues in my 29 gal tank for 2 years now.. i was wondering would 2 301 powerheads on high that that be good enough for my corals.. i have flowerpot, xenias, cabbage, torch, hammer toadstool, and open brain.. right now i have a maxijet 900 and a 301.. seems too much flow for my tank.. ..

I know it's been a long time since I have been in the hobby, just making my way back really,
but it seems to me you may not have enough IMO, let me ask you , how do you have the PH's you have placed ?

I had the maxijet. on the left side turn to the middle but had the flow directed to the top of the tank for surface. then i had the 301 on the right side facing the front just blowing.. seemed way too much.. but i added the hydor reflector on the maxi and everything seems fine.. only problem no surface flow.. so i'm thinking about buying a tunze nanostream 6025.

I always deflect my powerheads off of a side wall or into the stream of another powerhead.

The corals you mentioned are not what you would call high flow corals. You hear about some people with these crazy amount of turnover in there tanks, but that is for sps corals. The stuff you got would appreciate a more lazy kind of flow.

I would consider a wave timer if I were you.
