Fluval HOB filter media

Hey all so I started a 15gal nano tank in my dorm and right now I have a fluval aquaclear HOB filter ( the 20-50 gallon 200gph one) two power heads, one korila 425 one coralife something ( has more flow than the korila) so at total I have about 900 gph of total flow.
I have 10 pounds of argonite sand, and about 10 pounds of live rock in the tank itself.
For my light I am trying the A80 Tuna Blue which I think will be perfect for this tank and what I plan to keep.

I already plan to throw chemi-pure (regular, Blue, or elite what do you guys think?) and some purigen in the HOB. But I have also been looking into the Marinepure ceramic blocks for the extra filtration. But my Fluval HOB came with some ceramic media. Could I also use that or should I go with the marinepure version?

It really won't matter IMO...
Save your money IMO and just use the ceramics that came with it..

I would skip the ceramic media altogether. The live rock you have in the DT should be able to handle the bio load IMO. Just keep things simple. Who knows, the chemi-pure and the Purigen might not be needed either.

Alright I plan on going with the ceramic media provided to me l as I can always take it out, I still also plan to use chemi pure and purigen just for the extra filtration and I have always had success with it .

but what about putting some cheato or even a piece of LR that has some HA on it in th HOB? If I start to see spikes in phosphates and trouble with HA in my DT, I have found a media reactor that I can put on my 15g and run some GFO. keeping it simple but also want it to look good for when I bring some ladies back to my dorm
