You have a long way to go before you can add any corals or anemones to your tank. Make sure you do a more reading than doing for a while anyway LOL there is so much to learn and we'll be here along the way to answer any questions that you might have.

We have a "nano" forum further down the list of the different forums, I suggest you dive in there and read, read, read then ask questions.

Easier corals might not be the best corals. Make sure you look in the coral forums for LPS, SPS, Softies, mushrooms and zoas and palys. Some of the easy corals will actually take over your tank like the plague. Easier LPS corals are nice and have good flow, check them out and also check out the different leather corals you can get.

I loved my spec v when I was limited on space.
Look at par38 bulbs for lighting and minijet 606 pump for upgrading flow.

And be selective on your LR. Space is a commodity, so plan things out

The 606's are even scarcer now. I believe inTank finally sold out.
The older Orbit Marine LED light fits the top of the Spec V perfectly.

I'm planning one too right now. The Orbit Marine LED does fit perfectly and on that tank, I think some SPS will do ok.

I'm going to use an external cascade filter to increase flow and allow me a place for carbon, GFO etc.

Good luck,

Adam
