FMAS Holiday Party - Tuesday, December 19th

To celebrate the holiday season and FMAS's 50th anniversary the club will be having a 50th Anniversary Pot Luck Holiday Party at New River Middle School (3100 Riverland Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312) on December 19th (third tuesday of the month, not the fourth) at 7:15pm. There will be no speaker and no auction at the holiday party. The party will be a great chance for us all to get to know each other a little better. We will have holiday music and pictures throught the night. If you plan to attend we ask that you please bring a food dish (main course, side, desert, etc). Please email Rogger at roggercastells@hotmail.com to let him know what you plan to bring. The club will provide drinks.

Please don't feel like you have to make a dish big enough for everyone. An average size dih should be fine. I am hoping we have 40-60 people at the holiday party though. I'm looking forward to trying some of your chicken

Due to a conflict (band concert) at the school we will be moving our Holiday Party to the Davie Women's Center. This is where we had our last frag swap. Same date and time as planned. More info will be posted soon.

The Davie Wome's Center is located at 6551 Orange Dr., Davie, FL.

Please remember to email Rogger with your dish at roggercastells@hotmail.com. Last I heard we are in need of a few main course dishes.

From I95, take I595 West to Davie Road (NOT DAVIE BLVD). Head south about a mile to Orange Drive. Go west one block and the club is on your right. Turn right just before the club and park in the first or second lot. You can also park along the Orange Drive across from the club or in the grass beside the club.

From I75 or the Sawgrass Expressway, head East on I595 to Davie Road, follow above directions from there.

From Florida's Turnpike (SR 91), take the Griffin Road exit just south of I595 exit. Go west on Orange Drive (on the north side of the canal from Griffin Road). The club is 1.5 miles on the right, just past Davie Road

Anyone interested in a sand swap at the party? You bring sand, we dump it all in a bucket, you take sand home.

I forgot to say that the Womens Club is next door to the Davie Town Hall. The town hall must have at least 10,000 lights so bring the kids to look.
