This month we have a special speaker, Tony Vargas! Tony will be giving us a great presentation on diving in the Phillipines. Last months auction earned the club more than $700. Please continue to bring in your fish and frags!

how do i join this club and is there a cost to join?

You can join at any of the meetings. I believe the cost is $15 for a single membership or $20 for a family.

The money goes straight back in the club. It helps pay for things like buses for the fish hop, speakers, and food for the meetings.

do you ever have meetings in miami? i live in the kendall area and will try very hard to make the trip this tue if work load allows but if every meeting is up there it might be difficult for me. what kind of thing do the society do?

This is out permanent meeting location now. The society does things like monthly meeting with various speakers, picnics, dive trips, tank hops, field trips, frag trades/auctions, and such.

Thumbs up for Tony Vargas. Good person, very knowladgeable and personable guy. He is the NUMBER ONE reef fish authority in my book

Unfortunately, i cannot make the trek to the meeting because of a little parking lot called I-95

Still waiting for someone to schedule a meeting out of rush hour times so that us South people can have a chance to attend. All highways are dead lock going North and West at the time the meetings are scheduled, little unfair i think fo us SOuth people, esp long time club members.

Flamehawk, How about taking the Turnpike? There's no traffic there going North. It's what I take everyday to got to work.

Flame, you guys are pretty deep into the hobby... how bout making an offshoot of the club that meets down south? It'd probably be alot easier than starting a new club.
