Hello,

I have noticed today that my flame angel (I have it for 3+ months) having fongus on one of its gills (on the edge of the out side. I don't think it have any in the inside part of the gills).

It is 150g reef tank and I have no chance to get the fish out of the reef for tratment.
Is there any treatment (medical, UV, etc.) I can do in the reef tank itself, that will be effective against fongus?

Regards,

Verti

The only medication I ran across that can be used in the aquarium and is suppose to be safe and effective treatment for a wide variety of internal and external bacteria, fungal and parasitic infections is Sulfa-MS by FishVet. I have never used this med so I cannot vouch for it but it would seem to address your problem. The FishVet web site is http://www.fishvet.com/medications.htm
