food coloring and AEFW

I know this may sound strange, but here it goes anyway. Has anyone ever tried dipping their sps's in salt water with food coloring added to it. I know that food coloring is non toxic, so I wouldn't think it would hurt any thing. If it actually stained the AEFW it would make them a lot easier to see on the corals. Lets says you had a green coral and you used a red die, they would really stand out. I currently don't think I have AEFW so I can not try this out for myself. So if any of you fellow reefers with AEFW happens to get one add a little food coloring and let me know what heppens.

Thankfully, I do not have them to try this on. (Knock on wood)
