Food Recipes feed NPS

despite my bad English, I would like to know the recipes and ingredients they use to feed their corals NPS.

thanks

Well, just about everything I can get my hands on. Fauna Marin and Reef Nutrition as a base and then everything I can find. Blend it up and feed away.

Frozen cyclopeeze and nutramar ova are also huge for me. I go through it like candy, because it feeds fish, corals and invertebrates.

if possible to find out more detail, how do you use mixes and how much of each?

I want to modify the ingredients of the mixture used

thanks

Feeding & Supplements Schedule:

1) Daily---Using a Fish Mate auto feeder, Fauna Marin Ultra Sea fan, Fauna Marin Ultra Clam, and Fauna Marin Ultramin F is dispensed over a 2-hour period, continuously 24/7.

2) Daily---Using the refrigerated auto feeder
6 ml daily of Shellfish Diet (1ml every 4 hrs)
12 ml daily of OysterFeast (1ml every 2 hrs)
20 ml daily of Rotifeast (.83ml every hour)

3) Daily at 7am---.5ml of Fauna Marin UltraMin D and .5 ml of Fauna Marin UltraMin S is dosed manually to the aquarium

4) Daily at 6pm---frozen Piscine Energetics or Hikari mysis shrimp is defrosted in aquarium water and fed manually

5) Daily at 8pm---frozen Argent Cyclop-eeze is defrosted in aquarium water and fed manually or 1 tablespoon of Reef Nutrition Arcti-pods

6) Feather stars seem to love Ultra min F! I frequently mix in 1/2 cup of aquarium water: a 1/8th of a teaspoon of Ultra Min F, frozen Argent Cyclop-eeze, 1ml of Reef Nutrition OysterFeast. Then I dose the feather stars directly using a Kent Sea Squirt.

7) Daily--- Lightly stir sections of the gravel in my aquarium allowing detritus into the water column

8) Daily---A bag of Fauna Marin Ultralith stones are located in the last chamber of the sump (I use them now instead of bio balls) the bag is shaken and I let the detritus flow into the main display. Fauna Marin Ultra Bio (3 drops) and Ultra Bak (.6ml) are dosed manually to the sump above the Ultralith stones.

9) Over the course of a week I use about 2 flat packs of mysis and 1 bar of cyclopeeze. About a teaspoon of LPS+ pellets M & L on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday no select time of dosing it.

There are additional times the coals are direct fed which are not on an exact schedule, it is based on observation.

I will add this as well, keep in mind this is only a 50 gallon tank...

Maintenance:
50% water changes are conducted weekly; 25% every Wednesday & 25% every Saturday. Salt used is E.S.V B-Ionic Seawater System salt mix (salt works out well, mixes clear and ready safely use in less than 30 minutes). Skimmer cup is cleaned daily in the morning and evening, Once a month sump is completely drained, cleaned, skimmer is disassembled and cleaned as well.

thanks, but how you use mixes and how much of each?

I really don't follow a set plan. Pretty much I take an equal amount of Fauna, clam food, sea fan food, ultra min D, shell fish diet and dried cyclops. I mix this with ultra min S. Then blend that up in a quart of tank water. I then add some Reef Nutrition phytofeast, rotifeast, oysterfeast, nutramar ova, and Brightwells bacteria suplement 7. Blend this all up. This last 3 days in my feeder. Again about 8 times a day. I slowed it a bit from 10. twice a week I mix this with fauna Pac and spot feed my dendrons.

Thats a lot of food & different kinds of food. And I thought keeping sps was an inexact science, filled with lots of different ways of achieving happy corals.
