I have for sale my Hamilton Technology 48" 250 watt metal halide and 55 watt power compact retrofit kit. This kit has 2-250 watt metal halide fixtures and includes 2 used bulbs (sorry I do not remember their age or spectrum) as well as 4-55 watt square pin power compact with 2 new 03 Actinic and 2 new 6500K bulbs with no time on them purchased from Hello Lights. The metal halide magnetic ballast is in one box powered by one electrical cord, while the PC lights have dual ballasts kept in a different box with 2 electrical cords so you can control your daily light ramp up and down.
Due to an electrical issue I had with one of the PC sockets I have replaced all four sockets. I purchased the kit approximately 11 years ago from Hamilton and believe over time I have replaced all the ballasts at one time or another. I did not use this light for the past three years, but kept it not knowing for sure what I would do with my tank. You will need to purchase some wire quick connectors (one nine pin and one 6 pin) as I had my ballast boxes in a separate room from my tank so the wires from both ballast boxes are spliced.
The price is $250.00, and while I will not ship this unit, I am based in Sarasota and I do travel the state for business and would not mind meeting a buyer during the work week. Feel free to PM me with questions or if you would like higher resolution photos.
