For the sake of getting a dedicated fishroom - anyone seen these?

It's a washer and dryer all in one unit. Reviews seem to be very good. They operate from 110v and suppose to be 39% more efficient than typical dryers. Although a little pricier than two units it would be nice to be able to free up my utility room (which is directly behind my big tank) for sumps, bigger skimmers, etc. They're sort of new, so didn't know if anyone in the club had heard anything good or bad about them. I plan on taking out my old washer and dryer and simply putting this unit in one of our spare closets we don't use. It doesn't need any sort of venting or anything, it's a convection dryer. What do you guys think? I love new gadgets.

Interesting, I haven't seen those before. The other day, I was reading that a lot of people have mildew issues with the front load washers. Many have to leave the door open while not in use and use special washing powders. However, this is more than just a washer so it may not have that same problem.

I have seen these before. They have become very popular in RV's over the last few years. I have not personally tried them but supposedly they work good. I just never considered one for the home as you would have 1 machine doing the job of 2 there fore laundry would take twice as long. Usually you move one load to the dryer while washing the next not possible with this type of unit. Just something to think about.

I instead had (fire destroyed) the full size stacked washer dryer. It came stacked and was all one unit. took up the floor space of one but the convience of both. about 1,000.00 about 4 years ago.

would also work in a closet
