found Padi cards, passports etc TULUM MX

Found assorted cards of ID in Tulum Mexico for Adrienn Molinar and Janos Mihaly Orendi on a beach in Tulum MX. They had PADI cards. I don't know jack about scuba, can someone be super awesome and try to contact these people on related forums just in case they are in a bind? We are at Hostal Chalupa in Tulum til the 2nd, my email is kate@munat.com but I have limited internet access. Would love to help these folds out.
 
They don't NEED the certification cards. Any dive shop can call PADI to confirm certififcation of said divers. I wouldn't fret it.
 
Are they US passports? If so, contact the US embassy if you can and let them know you have them as soon as you can. More than likely they will file for new ones so they can travel. If they contact the embassy, they can notify them where they are located at.
 
there are other cards as well, the country is in eastern europe. might ask the dive shops if they rented from them and have a contact, and found one of them on facebook so if they check that we can contact them. What a vacation for them. Just renting a car was an absolute nightmare, ended up being told there were no cars for rent in Cancun so we gave a guy with a van a pile of cash to get here. Trying to get anywhere with the passport and bank cards gone, can't imagine.
