Foxface Bacterial Infection???

Hi everyone!

Recently, my foxface received a small cut near it's right mouth. The cut seemed to be healing correctly, as it was a nice light pink and some new skin seemed to be forming over it. It was eating very well (like a pig as always), and I was adding vitamins and amino acid supplements to help boost the immune system a little bit.

Recently, the cut seemed to have a bit of a turn for the worse. There is a thin, white, almost transparent film coming off of the cut, and it is about 2-3millimeters long. I took this as a sign of bacterial infection or parasite, and I am monitoring the film to see if it gets worse. The foxface is still eating like it usually does, and is acting normally.

Here's the crazy twist...

I recently caught a coral beauty that was picking at LPS corals in my tank, and it is in my QT/HT, and is about to get traded in. Unfortunately, if I put the foxface into the QT, I'm not sure of the effects it will have on the coral beauty.

Here comes another crazy twist...

I don't have a camera powerful enough to focus on the cut to show what I mean.

And...

I don't know if this is proper healing, bacterial infection, or parasitic.

Help and advice is needed ASAP!!!
