Hi I am trying to frag some of my green slimmer. Can you guys tell me which kind of jel that I can use to glue the frag onto the disk, and if you got it from Home Depot. Tia

You can use the gorilla glue gel found at HD

I've used the Gorilla before, but it separates in the bottle over time and is more expensive. I recommend finding multi-packs of small tubes of gel glue. The last ones I got last time were at Wal-Mart for a lot less and you don't waste as much because they stay fresh longer when they aren't opened. I think it was a loc-tite brand. Some HD and Lowes have them also. Name brand doesn't seem to make as big of a different in my experience.

I use Seachem Reef Gel Glue. It work fast but isn't strong but good enough for frag.

Got it from a LFS or you can get it on Amazon.

Dollar tree sells a 2 pack of the gel for a buck.
Each tube does maybe 4-5 frags, but there is practically no waste with the small tubes.

Can anyone recommend some online stores that sell these cheaper safe gel glues that are good as ecotechs one?

This^^^ so frustrating when you have a whole bottle that was wasted and the inevitable trip to the store...

I like the ecotech marine frag glue. It does not harden when left in the bottle, especially if stored upside down. The gel super glue from the dollar store works good too. Down side to that is you get one use most of the time. The tubes are small so not that big a deal. I keep both on hand.

So far, I have been doing cheap cyano from the dollar store..gel only. I mix a little blob of underwater epoxy, add some gel and squish it into the LR. Then I take the frag, dry the base and put a blob of glue on and push it into the epoxy. If needed, then I mold the epoxy to either the base of the frag or the LR, depending upon what is needed to make it look right and stay put. It sounds complicated but only takes a minute and is very cheap.
