my neon green toadstool dropped a baby. however, it is now sitting on the bottom of the tank. what is the propoer way to mount this to a frag disk or rock? rubberband, glue????
I think you can stick a tooth pick in the base of coral then you can use a rubberband to attach it to a rock or disc. By wrapping the rubberband around the toothpick ends and rock. Then I guess you remove the rubberband and toothpick once the coral has attched.
Put the frag on a rock and wrap a rubber band around it and the rock. I would try to keep it closer to one end than the other. In about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks it should be good and secure. Take it out and snip the rubber band in two. Gently pull the rubber band out from the flesh (will probably grow over it) and your good to go. Hope this helps its the way I always do it with no problems.
